I am porting my Harmonie experiment from c2a to cca. I had the strange feature that scripts which I could run interactively, crashed via mSMS (or ssh). Secret was in environemnt (e.g. my "path" was supershort).

Here is what the calldesk told:

"This is a known problem for users who have the ksh as their login shell, which should be fixed soon. Users with bash or csh as their login shell are not affected by this bug, so you may want, in the meantime, to change your login shell to bash. I see you run bash scripts anyway, so this might be the perfect excuse to switch to bash...

From ecgate, you can run the "changesh" command and follow the instructions. Once done, the change may take several minutes to replicate to all the machines including ecgate itself and cca."

I did this, it worked, but as they say this is "known" problem I would like to make it "known" among larger audience.
