Info from cma file 5 years 11 months ago #1190

Hi
I try to understand if our operational model is happy with our own radiosonde data. For this I analyse ACMA* file with cmastat.x and among the output there is temp_list.dat file, which is simple ascii file.
In this file there are following lines related to our sonde:
26038 5 35 59.40 24.60 33. 20140131 0 1 0
26038 5 35 59.40 24.60 33. 20140131 0 4 512
26038 5 35 59.40 24.60 33. 20140131 0 4 512
26038 5 35 59.40 24.60 33. 20140131 0 4 512

Is it correct to assume that if the last three numbers are not "0", then something is not good and data is not actually used? If so, is there a way to get info from model what was wrong?

Best regards,
Andres Luhamaa

Hi Andres,

taking a quick look at "cmastat/statlist.F":
c statid: station id (A9)
c type,subtype (2I4)
c lat,lon: latitude,longitude (2F8.2)
c alt: station altitude (F13.0)
c obsday,obstim: observation day and time (2I9)
c obsstatus: Report status (cmadoc 6.4.7)
c obsevents: Report events (cmadoc 6.4.8)
