All Staff Meetings

The annual HIRLAM All Staff Meeting (ASM) is combined with the annual ALADIN Workshop (Wk). Here you can find the announcement and date and place for the upcoming ASM/Wk, and the presentations given at the ASM/ ALADIN Wk's. Information about ASM ALADIN WK's can also be found at the ALADIN website. For All staff meetings more than 2 years ago I refer to the old HIRLAM ASM pages.

HIRLAM ASM2014 - Aladin 24st Workshop

Dear ALADIN and HIRLAM colleagues,

National Meteorological Administration of Romania, the local organizer of the event, is waiting for you to attend the combined ALADIN 24th Wk/HIRLAM ASM 2014.

The local organisers in Bucharest have put together a nice website on which you can find all information about hotels a.o. at http://nwp.meteoromania.ro/.

You can book accommodation (hotel, dates) and register yourself for the workshop (dates, presentation, poster) on the Aladin website : http://www.cnrm.meteo.fr/aladin/spip.php?article166&lang=en.

The deadline for the registration (hotel and workshop) is 7 March but we will appreciate that your register as soon as possible. The sooner we get the propositions for presentations, the sooner we get a draft agenda (a skeleton is available on the aladin website).

The ASM/Workshop takes place from Monday 7 to Thursday 10 April 2014. Friday 11 April there will be the usual CSSI/HMG management meeting.

Please use  aladin2014-at-meteoromania.ro to contact the local organizer team.

First announcement for ASM 2012

Dear HIRLAM colleagues,

Hereby I let you know that the joint HIRLAM All Staff Meeting (ASM)/22th ALADIN Workshop 2012 is planned to take place on 7-10 May in Marrakesh, Morocco. So please reserve these dates in your agenda’s! The meeting will start on Monday morning 7 May around 9h, and end on Thursday 10 May (presumably late) afternoon. As was the case in previous years, there will be a largely common program, based on joint thematic sessions. In addition, a meeting of the HIRLAM Management Group and the ALADIN CSSI will take place to discuss common plans and activities, on Friday 11 May.

For your information I have added our first rough sketch of the programme setup, which may be useful in case you will be able to attend only part of the meeting. Later on, you will be sent more practical information on registration, the venue of the meeting, local accommodation and possible visa requirements.

Best regards,

Jeanette
